Web developer job for e-commerce, frontend, and backend

We are looking for a web developer with experience in e-commerce for backend and/or frontend tasks, preferably both.

The web developer role at HosonoDE combines frontend, backend, templates, CMS content, and e-commerce delivery. Depending on the project you work with Shopware, Shopify, WordPress, landing pages, integrations, and production systems customers rely on.

We look for practical delivery strength: solid HTML, CSS, JavaScript, backend awareness, and judgment on how technical changes affect UX, maintainability, and performance.

Implement frontend and backend tasks for e-commerce projects
Work with templates, styles, CMS content, landing pages, and integrations
Support Shopware, Shopify, WordPress, and related systems depending on project needs
Coordinate with project management and marketing on implementation details
Improve maintainability, performance, and usability in existing projects

Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at least one backend stack
Understanding of CMS or e-commerce workflows
Ability to ship practical, maintainable work
Clear English communication
Comfortable working with Git and task-based collaboration

Salary depends on web development profile, e-commerce experience, and frontend, backend, or full-stack focus:

Basic Level with solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one backend stack: JPY 3.0 to 3.5 million per year plus overtime and bonus
Experienced Level with reliable delivery across CMS, template, and shop tasks: JPY 3.5 to 4.0 million per year plus overtime and bonus
Senior Level with several years of project experience, performance awareness, and dependable technical delivery: JPY 4.0 to 4.5 million per year plus overtime and bonus
Expert Level with broad full-stack ability, e-commerce depth, and technical leadership in projects: JPY 4.5 to 7.0 million per year plus overtime and bonus
